MORE ON THE MK DEADLY ALLIANCE RELEASE DATE Wednesday, March 6, 2002 - 4:05PM EST
Our last news post mentioned that the people at GameSpot had their release dates for MK Deadly Alliance differentiating between the game systems. They recently updated the release dates for MKDA on all of the game systems to "Q4 2002". The 4th quarter does not begin until October 1st, so we may not see the game until near Halloween. A confirmed date has still not be set. They also added the same stage images that we have already seen.
RELEASE DATE FOR MORTAL KOMBAT DEADLY ALLIANCE Monday, March 4, 2002 - 10:57PM EST
Alot of speculation is circulating about the release date for MKDA for the home systems. The majority simply say "Fall 2002". Not to start any rumors, but while at Gamespot, I noticed that on their PS2 page for MKDA it lists the release date as "Q3" of 2002. At the same time on their other system pages, it posts a date of 09/01/2002. While this coincides with the "Fall 2002" and "Q3", could it be a hint to the exact date? It is probably too soon to tell.

MORTAL KOMBAT DEADLY ALLIANCE Q&A AT GAMESPOT Friday, March 1, 2002 - 10:05PM EST
Gamespot recently had a MK Deadly Alliance Q&A session with the Midway team. Not many new details were released in the session, but a few of the more interesting ones are that there will be all new fatalities for the characters, not revisited fatalities from the past games. They also said that the polygon count will be between 7k and 10k per character. There was also mention of expanded gameplay modes, especially in single player mode.
NEW STAGE IMAGES POSTED AT OFFICIAL MKDA WEB SITE Friday, March 1, 2002 - 9:27PM EST
The Official Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance web site has now posted some new artwork. The new artwork consists of some renders of a few of the new fighting stages as well as some sketches of one of the statues in the background. These new stages look very nice and with the ability to move around in complete 3D, I would look for them to tie in some possible new pit fatalities. Head on over the official site and check them out.
MORTAL KOMBAT DEADLY ALLIANCE SECTION UNDERWAY Friday, March 1, 2002 - 4:04AM EST

We will be updating the section whenever new information on the game is released.
