Chapter 1:
into the nietherrealm

ari and sub zero stepped out of the portal. one look told her she was in all kinds of trouble. "stay close" sub zero told her "there are many enemies around here". "don't worry i will" ari replied walking closely behind him. "who goes there and what is your buisness?" the guardian asked looking very angry.. "we are looking for some slaves to take to shang tsung" sub zero lied. "you may pass" the guard said still looking suspicously at ari. soon they were in the worse part of the netherrealm. "this is the lower level he will be here somewhere" sub zero said as they stated looking around suddenly out of no whwere they were surrounded by oni. "watch yourself" sub zero stated as he fought of the majarity and she was handling herself just fine until noob showed himself."so finally we meet!" noob said "what buisness do you have here?" he demanded. "none of yours" sub zero replied "oh but it is!" noob siad grabbing ari from behind. "ugh let me go!" ari said. "not till he tells me what i want to know" noob stated. "let her go!" a voice from behind ordered. "scorpion!" noob said "this is none of your concern". "if you dont let he go you will be of no concern!" sub zero said as he threw the ice ball and hit noob. "geez" ari said gasoing for air " what took you so long?" " i didn't want to accidently hit you by mistake" sub zero repileid their attention now turned to scorpion. "stay close"sub zero said. "now you two why are you here?" scorpion demanded sounding more threatening then noob. " we are here for you" ari replied we,i need your help" "why would i help you?" scorpion stated coldly. "you were the one who trained me who watched me everyday until the bald guy killed you. i saw i was hiding behind a rock i stayed there until finally a guy made with electricity told me to come with him and i did i was raised in america by two loving parent's until just yesterday when the evil creatures working for omaga attacked they were after me."ari replied surprised at how much more she remembered of the last day she saw her father."raiden gave me this" holding out the medallion. "you my daughter arianna you survived.?" scorpion said puzzled. "yes and now i have been discovered by omaga and he wants me dead"ari replied. "why are you here?" scorion said turning his attention to sub zero. " i am protecting her" sub zero replied. "oh i see" scorpion said looking behind him. "i will help you ari noone else and i thank you sub zero" scorpion said. "we must go noob's servant is coming" as he grabbed them both and teleported them back to the island.
Chapter 2:
punishment

"YOU HAVE FAILED!"omaga said as baraka trembling before him. "she was more powerful then we gave her credit for" baraka begged. "I DO NOT TOLERATE SUCH IMPUTANCE!" omaga said angrily "THIS IS THE LAST TIME YOU WILL FAIL ME" as omaga sent down his two oni's and they tore him apart. "this is what becomes of imconfident fools who can't complete one simple task now send in my orackle i need a new plan"omaga stated to his servant.
Chapter 3:
a new plan

"yes master" marina said coming into the throne room. "as you know baraka failed ari is with the thunder god and his pathetic mortals. i need a new direction" omaga ordered. " well they have also aquired the spectre" marina said. "scorpion?" omaga questioned "how?". "it seems she was his daughter and she convinced him to help them" marina replied "perhaps we shold make a pact with the sorceror shang tsung and quan chi" "perhaps but can they be trusted?" omaga said. "yes to a certain extent if you give them what they want they will give you what you want to a certain extent" marina replied her eyes darking. "what is it they want?" omaga asked. "revenge on those who kept them captive" marina replied " they want power beyond their own, they want control". "so if i give them these things they desire they will help me?" omaga asked. "you must make them think you will if they gain one ounce of power they will over throw your plans and take the realms for themselves" marina replied. " so what do i do then?" omaga asked a little confused. " make them believe that all you want is ari and that you will give them the one thing they want and they will be yours, you must not let them since anything different they can read your thoughts so you must never let your guard down." she cautioned. "how will i find them?" omaga asked. "they are in the ruins" marina said. "we must hurry" omaga said "MILEENA" he yelled. " yes sire" mileena hissed walking into the throne room. " i ahve a mission for you" omaga said " you must go to the ruins and get shang tsung and quan chi and bring them to me tell them i have n offer they can't refuse". "at once" mileena said gathering a few men and leaving to the ruins. "what do you want" tsung hissed when mileena approached him and quan chi. "omaga sends me to ask for your assistance he says he has an offer you can't refuse"mileena replied. "and what if we do?" quan chi asked. " he says he will make it very worth your while" mileena replied. "let's go hear this offer and then we will decide to help or not" tsung replied. soon they were back in omaga's throne room " i knew i could count on you mileena" omaga said "you may go for now" "yes sire" she replied as she left the throne room. "what is this offer?" quan chi asked. " i offer you a chance at revenge on shao kahn and lou kang all you have to do is bring me arianna alive and they are all yours" omaga offered. "what if we want more then just revenge on kahn and kang what about scorpion?" quan chi asked . "ari is scorpion's daughte bring me her he will follow" omaga stated. "what if we fail?" tsung asked. "we'll deal with that later" omaga said. "deal" the sorceror's both replied. and they were o their way but what they didn't know was omaga had no plans to let them have what they wanted for he wanted them dead to .
Chapter 4:
TRAITOR

"we need to come up with a plan before heading in" sub zero said as the three joined the circle.so they all came up with a plan that they would seperate into pairs and then go to omaga's fortress there they would gain access to they different entriy ways and they would surround him in his very own throne room. soon it was agreed sonya and jax,johnny cage and scorpion,kenshi and kitana,lei mae and cyrax,sub zero and ari, sindel and night wolf ,bo rai cho and sujinko were the teams raiden deigned. so they agreed the first thing in the morning they would spring their plan into action so they all retired into bed. a little after midnight ari heard footsteps outside her tent so she went to investigate she followed lie mae into the forest and hid behind some bushes. what she saw amazed her lie was talking to one of omaga's soldiers she told him of the plan and when they would spring it. "TRAITOR!" ari yelled jumping from her hididng place. "how could you?" "power, glory,the chance to have my own throne" lei answered."but you won't be telling them anything" she said lunging at her with her sword drawn. "oh but i will" ari replied jumping out of the way watching as the sword got stuck in a tree.then she drew her sword and the fight was on. soon though ari had lei on the ground with her sword to her throat. "ari stop" raiden said "what are you doing?" "there is a traitor in our mist and i put a stop to her treachery". "is this true" raiden asked. "of course" lei said as ari moved the sword away from her throat ."it is" lei said running into the forest. "you let her get away" ari said "she told them of our plan" "she told noone i had my suspision so i disquised myself as one of omaga's soldiers i discovered the truth and thanks to you it confirmed my suspicions." "oh" ari said . "lets get back to camp we have a busy day ahead." raiden said as he teleported them back to camp.
Chapter 5:
treachery

back at camp the teams were gathering to start on their jorney."where's ari?" sub zero asked "i'm right here " ari replied joining him "so we all know what to do and now is the time to get started" raiden stated."good luck and i'll be with you all". so they went on their ways "stay close" sub zero stated "these woods are very dangerous". "ok"ari said noting the concern. "ari can i ask you something?" sub zero asked uncarchteristically. "sure" ari replied. "when all this is over do you plan on going back to your life as it was or would you stay here with us?" he asked trying to be coy. "i haven't really thought about it i would love to learn more about my past and how i got to were i am now' ari replied." but then again i had a very pleasent life but boring, why?" "just wondering" sub zero replied looking a little disaappointed. "you could stay and i could help you lean more of your family" he offered. "that would be great but i have to ask where is this coming from?" ari questioned a little puzzled. "well i have feelings i have never had before for you and i well i would like to get to know you a little better, that's all" he replied a little embarressed. "wow uhm okay that would be great i was thinking the same thing" ari replied a little relieved. "ahhh a weakness in sub zero's armor"lei said watching from high above." i must tell omaga. "did you hear that?" sub zero asked pulling ari close to him. "no what was it?" ari said taking his hand. "it was like someone was watching us" sub zero stated looking around and holding ari's hand tightly. "we should check it out" ari said looking around. "yeah" sub zero agreed it could be one of omaga's men.

"omaga i have some news"lei mae said walking into the throne room. "what is it?" omaga said. "i have found a weakness in subzero it seems our ice ninja has a love intrest." "oh and"omaga. "the girl we capture her and we get him".lei suggested. "i have no intrest in him iwant the girl, so we capture him and get her" omaga ordered "now go". "at once" lei said bowing as she left.
Chapter 7:
familar faces

as sub zero and art went on to omaga's castle they heard someone fighting in the distance. "we should help him"ari suggested. "no i will you wait here" sub zero said. "but" ari said. "i want you safe" sub zero said running toward the bustle. "i can take care of my self" ari said to herself.waiting for him to return. "taven?"ari said as he and sub zero came back toward her. "arianna?" taven said "i thought you were in earth realm." "no i came here looking for answers" ari said. "you know each other?" sub zero asked. "yeah" taven said smiling."good to see you again". "you to" ari said.

"how do you know each other" sub zero asked confussed. "we grew up together"taven replied my father was good friends with her father" "but my father is scorpion?" ari replied confussed. "no he's not your father sent you to trsin with scorpion so you could be ready for this moment but something happened and somehow you lost yourself" taven replied "then when quan chi attacked and raiden took ou to the earthrealm we feared we had lost you forever" "now i am really confussed"ari replied "first i am told i was someone whom i am not and now i find out something completely different." "i know how your feeling" sub zero stated "so if what you say is true then why did scorpion agree to help us?" "he cared for her as his own daughter that is why quan chi wanted to get to her to get to him raiden only knew part of the truth he thought she was his daughter but she is the new choosen warrior to protect the earth realm her mother is from the earthrealm while her father is here in edenia" taven replied. "here where iwant to see him to talk to him" ari said . "when all is done i will take you to him in the meantime we have bigger fish to fry"taven repied.

they were surrounded they had walked right into a trap "great i should have known" taven said "you lin kuei don't know a set up when you see one" "you lead us here" sub zero replied angrily "what the f" ari said as scorpion appeared out of no where grabbing her an sub zero but leaving taven to fend for himself. "what happened?" scorpion asked "i think we were set up"sub zero replied "who was that you were talking to?" scorpion asked looking right at ari. "Taven he said he knew me when i was younger he said that you weren't my father"ari replied confussed. "of course he was trying to trick you and from the looks of iut he almost had you" scorpion said looking at sub zero angrily. "and you how could you have fallen for that?" "he seemed like he knew her" sub zero replied "he is working for someone but it isn't shao kahn nor unaga we have to tell raiden that unaga has been defeated but a new danger is ahead" "wait unaga has been defeated?" ari asked "yes the elder gods sent me to defeat him they gave me the skills i needed and now a new evil awaits." scorpion said " i fear we will soon know whom or what it is" "wait he may know"sub zero said as taven came toward them. "come here!" scorpion said throwing his spear and dragging taven toward them you have answers we have questions you will be released once you have told us if not well lets just say the serpent will go deeper until you do" "who are we up against?" sub zero demanded. "I'm afraid i can't tell you" taven replied grimmacing from pain as scorpion sent the serpent in deeper. "who is it?" ari said "tell us now or " "ok blaze his name is balze and no one can defeat him" taven replied "who sent him?" sub zero asked "my parents they sent him i was trying to warn you"taven replied. "how by lying?" ari asked angrily "lying?" taven said puzzled. "i wasn't lying" "yes you were" ari said "you said i was not whom everyone said i am you said everyone was lying when it was you" "you are scorpions daughter?" taven asked puzzled "no this is not right" "what are you talking about?" subzero asked. "ok wait you father is here now?"taven asked. "oh yeah he has the serpent at your throat" ari replied sternly. "you" taven said angerily pulling at the serpent. "it will do you no good the more you pull the tighter the grip" scorpion replied. "this isn't right why would you say she's your daughter?" taven asked. "we are the ones asking the questions" scorpion said "now why did they send blaze?" "to stop armageddon" taven replied.
Chapter 10:
confessions

"raiden we have a guest" scorpion said "YOU!" raiden exclaimed seeing taven "why are you here?" "they brought me here against my will" taven replied. "he was caught trying to help our enemy" subzero replied "and lying to me" ari said still something about him seemed so vaguely familiar she just couldn't place it. "raiden i have some more questions" ari said looking at taven. "sure come with me the rest of you take our guest to the prison" raiden said. as he and ari walked to another part of camp "now what is it you would like to know" he said "raiden you said scorpion was my father but taven says no he said that my father sent me to train with scorpion that my father an his father was good friends scorpion cared for me as his own daughter and you only knew part of the truth" ari said scratching her arm. "what wrong?"raiden asked concerned seeing the big spot on her arm "please tell me " ari asked rubbing her arm like crazy. "scorpion is your father you were sent to live with your mother in the castle in edenia your step father whom was good friends with taven's parents but didn't want to tell them you weren't his real daughter so he lied and said you were your mother refused to let you become a pawn in their game to get the throne an be betrothed to taven so she sent you to live with your father she told your step father only after she had done it she was killed straight after but not before she told me that you were special an i sensed it you stayed with your father until the day quan chi attacked his village i came and took you to the earthrealm were i protected you and the family i put you with knew the whole truth but could not tell you because it would risk them finding you but it didn't work unaga found you anyway but it was your father whom was the elder gods choice to save the earth realm from unaga so i have a feeling it is you that has to stop blaze"raiden explained. "taven is wrong he knows none of the reality only what your step father has told him an his family". "thanks" ari said relieved "will i remember anything?" "you are starting to already" raiden said "yes i remember some an what you said sounded very famliar i remember some of that day my mom said she had to send me to my father because i wasn't safe here i was crying but my dad was so loving toward me he took me to train with him an his recruits he made me feel like i was loved an i belonged he said i was his star his lil princess but that's all i can remember right now" ari said disappointed "more will come"raiden reassured here "now let's get back i have to question our guest"

"i had her in my grasp and she got away again" unaga said angrily "she was right outside the castle" "we won't let it happen again " the guards stataed. "see that it doesn't" "sire we have other issues" marina said entering teh throne room. "what is it now!" "it seems taven has returned and has been captured by the earth warriors seems they think he's working for us" she stated. "that would never happen"unaga said "seems he still believes the lie that shao kahn told him" "we could use this" onaga said "go rescue him"
